Empire State College, State University of New York, gives working adults the opportunity to earn degrees in ways that work with their demanding schedules. Founded in 1971, the college is a leader in serving adult students through faculty-guided independent study, online courses, distance learning and study groups, as well as through college-level credit earned from work and life.
